Walk and whet your whistle at a gluten-free craft beer tasting on Whiddy Island
Make the short ferry journey from Bantry Pier to Whiddy Island and meet Tim O Leary, resident islander and font of local knowledge, for a guided tour of the hidden secrets and history of this fascinating island.
After you’ve taken in the sights, return to the Bank House pub on the island where Gordon Lucey, brewer at 9 White Deer, and Liquid Curiosity’s, Jaq Stedman, will introduce you great Irish craft beers.
Tempt your taste buds with the wonderful new gluten-free beverages being created by small and innovative breweries in rural Ireland and learn the history of these intriguing beers.
Their flavours will be complimented by a tasting plate of delicious locally made gluten-free food!
